This is a fish that balances beautiful, sunflower yellow coloration with an equally intense attitude. Confident around aggressive fish several times larger than itself, the ORA Yellow Dottyback will defend its rockwork home and do well in systems typically reserved for boisterous triggers, wrasses and puffers. While our broodstockĀ doesnāt seem to have the same assertiveĀ personalityĀ as theirĀ reputationĀ suggests, we do notĀ recommendĀ this species for peacefulĀ aquariums. ThisĀ very hardyĀ dottyback is best housed in systems where only the strongest survive.Ā Reaching a size of up to 4ā, it will readily consume aĀ Ā wide range of food from pellets and flakes to frozen mysis and chopped shrimp.
