These fish are rare and, though not strikingly colorful, have an unusual body shape and feeding behavior - similar to a headstander. Leporinus prefer to rest in a hidden area but will be active at feeding time. These fish at some point will outgrow small fish such as tetras but are suitable for most mid size and large aquarium pets.Ā
