The elegant royal farlowella has the slender body of the farlowella but with majestic dorsal finage and a larger size. Royal farlowellas are uncommon and are caught in Colombia. Like other twig catfish, these critters tend to stick to the side of the fish tank and swim slowly from time to time in search of scraps. Our royals are tank raised and about 2 inches, and aquarium tank ready.
